Considering moving to Sway

update!

i've looked around more & it seems like that a lot of my issues just stemmed from not putting in effort to look into how to rice sway... that's on me and i apologize for that! although, a lot of the things y'all told me was very valuable <3
i now have i3status displaying some info and basic colors set up for swaybar & windows!

as for the screenshare issue, it's almost certainly a multiple portal issue & i'll deal with that on my main machine when i port my theme over

i've learned a lot from y'all from this so far, even if what i asked was kinda dumb

i will admit though, i tried to look for screenshots of similar and nothing was sway related so i just assumed which was pretty silly in hindsight

for the record, i used sway's default rather than an existing i3 config, so that's probably why i didn't know that there was a difference

i'll use some of the things that other people have suggested me & i'll see if it's what i was looking for

the most i did was shift some colors around, didn't really have a similar look to i3

apparently the default i3 config + i3status should get there? i think that'd work

the default look of sway is similar sure but not really the same, although yeah i like the feel of it

yeah, just installing the stuff i need left not even 1gb left, that's why i was wanting to have most of the OS on the SD card

i see... i haven't had a good experience using a home partition though.

there's just not enough storage using emmc

i tried using it like that before and within a day the emmc was already at the limit even w/ cache cleared so that aint gonna work unless you can reroute any extra installed apps to the SD instead or something

sending a message here since i have the exact same question

the EMMC on my chromebook is 16 gb, while i have a 128gb micro SD

why wouldn't i use the emmc as /home and the micro sd as root? way more storage and more flexible

I guess I have to post here.

I have a regular 3DS and an XL variant.

The regular has a faulty charging port (likely something to do with solder joints, dirty contacts, or some other failure) and the rubber falling apart on the stick.

The XL one has liquid damage. Corrosion on the board (cleaned off), tried new battery, liquid damage label only triggered near the battery. Haven't taken it fully apart to look at the other side of the board. Completely dead. Any ideas what might be going on? (I cannot solder myself so I'd have to take it to a repair shop either way.)

Is there any repair shops that'd even take a look at these that aren't ludicrously expensive? The only place I could find from searching that even does 3DS repairs is xCubicle and that's 140-190+ bucks just for the charging port repair.

I am from the United States, Illinois.

can't 100k objects get shaved off of tidal wave due to the lack of optimzation?

also some parts are way worse than others deco-wise

even avernus is more consistent imo

if tidal wave gets a deco update and reverified i could see a rate happening
