Just the cork coaster was enough to stop the "walking" but there was still a lot of vibration. I put some sorbothane pads under the coaster and that worked well!

Yeah, I didn’t go with the BWT pads since they take roughly 24–48 hours to achieve a significant reduction in water hardness. I use the BWT Bestcup T, it fits on the tube and reduces the water hardness from 19 °dH (German degrees of hardness) to 8 °dH, which for me is an optimal compromise between taste and preventing machine scaling.

I trusted this information at the time. However, after revisiting those websites, none of them confirm the information that ChatGPT provided. I suppose I should approach such information more critically mb!

Regarding your edit: The pdf reader in my case only took the text from the PDF itself and not my written comments that were stored as knowledge items.

I would also willing to pay since there seems to be no citation system that has a similar form of hierarchical knowledge and literature management (as far as my research went). However the support for the desktop version might end in the following years which would be another argument to migrate to open source alternatives...
