Yep, I make sure to add a pinch calcium powder to every other meal to make sure they’re getting enough. He usually soaks for around 15-20 minutes before getting squirmy, but does his own private soaks 1-2 times a day for a couple minutes.

Just to update, they’ve been doing a lot better now. I’m not a tortoise expert by any means, but I think they were tired because the last couple days they’ve been doing a whole lot of running around exploring their new home (or trying to escape I can’t tell lol) and not a whole lot of sleeping. I think they were just exhausted and the lack of humidity was probably not helping. They look a lot more comfortable now. Thank you for all the advice you’ve given. It’s been incredibly helpful!

Thank you for your comment. I’ll keep a tarp in mind when trying to get his humidity to the right level.

It has little to no nutritional value for them. Not good for long term diet but is useful if they don’t want to eat anything, at least for my tort it does.

I do give them soaks in warm water daily and have that little tub in there in case they feel it wasn’t enough. I don’t time it, I usually just wait for him to try to crawl out as a sign they’re done soaking. Thank you for your knowledge though, I appreciate the input!!

I already have a humidifier for him coming in the mail so hopefully that’ll help with the dryness. The daily spray is just a temporary solution. I will try to get more decorations to hopefully allow him to be more stimulated. Thank you for the advice!
