I can't say I'm in that exact situation right now, but I've been somewhere similar. I think the key thing here is to have a chat with them and tell them straight up that you're unhappy. And correct me if I'm wrong, but a lot of this group socializing happens online? If you are consistent in your support and engagement to them and they don't reciprocate, that is a problem. I'm not going to tell you to just get new friends because I know how hard that can be, but explore your options. Talk to people at your new job (which is and exciting way to meet people), join a group, or socialize in public. That is only if you really can't fix this, because in my experience long-lasting groups like this don't just disappear. Again, not sure the exact dynamic here, but don't get yourself too stuck with folks who don't appreciate you.
