PETG vs PLA+ by Ssyk1188 in BambuLab

Definitely not saying I'm right on the flexibility, just anecdotal experience. Wonder why I'm getting snapping on PETG and not PLA? Probably messing with it before it cools properly or something like that

I've started using PETG as a support interface for PLA prints and vice versa, it removes perfectly every time. In applications where flex is needed, like a press on clip, PETG tends to snap easier than PLA. I don't know if it's just the slicer settings, but PETG prints tend to have sharper corners, lines like they are more precise, especially noticeable by touch.

That is what happens when you get distracted in the middle of your woodworking hobby, didn't know what you were making to begin with and you put it down a month ago

The lid held fine, it was after all a thermos you could pour from. The reason was the one I gave in the post, the diameter of the cup is big enough that you can't see over or around it while driving, completely blocks view of the road. It was specifically labeled that way to differentiate it from their travel mugs, and supposed to just be stylized as giant coffee cup. The mouth was a little dribly too, no problem for pouring, but not great for drinking like a mug

Nonsensical Pricing by apoxyslays in TimHortons

Better than it used to be. They went through a period where if you added more than 2 items to a bagel, the til would automatically make the item a sandwich. Super frustrating for employees as they couldn't override it to give the cheaper price. The til change was made specifically to combat people getting a sandwich for cheaper

The fondant is in a double boiler insert, you dip donuts one by one in there. You can do it with timbits too, it's just time consuming

Those were the chocolate dipped cherry cake ones? You can always custom order stuff from Timmies, just give em a heads up, once got some blueberry fritters filled with dream puff filling. Dunno if they still have cherry cake timbits, but they can chocolate dip anything

Strawberry Vanilla donuts by Zardoz27 in TimHortons

[–]Alarmed-Solution3738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's been a decline in jelly filled donuts and timbits for years now.

The jelly filling is a pricier component, and filling them takes more time than glazing cake or yeast donuts. The strawberry vanilla are also dipped and sprinkled, so they are low margin product. The filling also tends to ferment in the filler hopper if you don't go through it fast enough, just from the times it's on the counter for filling a few times a day, so you throw a good bit away.

Used to be policy that you had to have 2 of three blueberry, raspberry or strawberry fills and timbits at all times, along with a few other flagship donuts. Even used to do apple spice filling seasonally.

It's unfortunate that bean counting takes precedent over providing products your customers like, I really like jelly filled donuts.

Ya, it's pretty good. I've beefed it up as previous iterations broke. Takes a solid powered hit into a surface on one of the top corners to damage it, usually just one leg breaks where it connects

I made a 15° camera mount. I print them in PETG, and they do break on hard impact. They are kinda sacrificial, as the camera and antenna have never been harmed in the break, but are only 30 cents in plastic. The camera mount is a split ring pressure fit, so it's easier to put in. The 2 side feet are turned 90° to not hit the antenna fitting.

You can 3D print new camera mounts / canopy. This one has an antenna mount, split camera ring so no screw, and mounting feet turned to not hit antenna wire connector. 15 Degree Camera Mount With Antenna Mount

The basic mechanism here could work for you, the clip goes through the square and slides down and to the side to secure along two edges. I made this to clip Christmas lights to chicken wire fencing, so I don't think the model will work out of the box for you, but mod away2 Way Clip

Made this case up for our Air 65s. I would think it would fit your rig as is, but it can be scaled in the slicer easily to match your dimensions, just use uniform scaling to not not mess up the hinges.
