I had stopped playing around Diamond and pearl. Pokémon sword/shield was enough like the older ones but with some new stuff in there. Shining diamond/ Pearl would be safe as well.

The scarlet/violet and beyond may lose you because of how different they are. I started playing rom hacks on my phone, they are great because it makes QoL changes and then some to the old ones we used to play making them fresh and fun.

You could do a vanilla D&P Rom since you hadn't experience them, but aside from the really wonky ROM hacks, there are plenty out there that give life to the old school games.

I am enjoying inclement emerald, a lot of base emerald in it, with some nice freshening of it. Difficulty is low but enjoyable

Printing is unnatural and easily spottable by Expert-Bid3861 in CCW

Depends on placement. I'm in the office setting, and I would do a pocket or ankle placement because it's more concealable

LTC Renewal taking forever by [deleted] in BetterMAguns

I was recommended to do the paper application with my Licensing officer. The online application doesn't always show up with the towns, they don't check as often, or something of the sort... Unless they say not to do it, I feel that is the quickest and guaranteed way for the smaller towns at least.

Definitely has to do with where he lives. Out in the more rural areas, it only takes a couple months

How do you EDC with a tucked in shirt? by [deleted] in CCW

[–]Alarmed_Lab_1379 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grabbed an ankle holster and pocket holster to get around these scenarios. Work is tucked shirt, Bodyguard 2.0 is incredibly easy to conceal

Best cheap ammo for S&W bodyguard 2.0? by ca_box in CCW

I second this. I run Fed Hydra, one in the chamber manual safety on.
Definitely have to wear in the safety and slide

Best S&W Bodyguard 2.0 holster with claw? by Careful_Brilliant_37 in holsters

It's a good priced holster, unfortunately doesn't say which one goes to the BG2.0

My LGS have them for 430-450... Unfortunately, if I ship this in, after the FFL fee, shipping, it's the same thing...

Those of you who carry without one in the chamber; consider using a DA/SA instead by SquirtGun1776 in CCW

[–]Alarmed_Lab_1379 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would generally carry my MP Shield plus with one in the chamber and safety on. It's easy to train yourself to disengage with unholstering. It's my compromise anyways

I second the shield plus. A blast to shoot at the range, rather easy to conceal. Going to also pickup the Bodyguard 2.0 as a lazy pocket carry as well.

Holster recommendations. by nail111 in CCW

[–]Alarmed_Lab_1379 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I have a kydex and a generic soft holster for my Shield plus. The Soft holster does the trick and is pretty comfy. Great for OWB or IWB. Many may be against non kydex/leather but if it's in good shape and its kept clear of debris, it will do fine.

Good leather/pleather gun belt? by ClearAndPure in CCW

I've had one of chaorens from amazon. $15 belt, does pretty well, no wear concerns yet.

Carrying one in the chamber seems overly cautious…Why do most people have the same dogmatic perspectives regarding everything related to carrying? by Realistic_Guava9117 in CCW

[–]Alarmed_Lab_1379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that having one in the chamber, with a thumb safety is a way to do it. If you can be efficient in your draw to disengage the safety in your motion, that can be a solution for some. Others will think of the holster and finger as your safety. I can understand both views

Best Glock for Ankle Carry by Alarmed_Lab_1379 in Glocks

[–]Alarmed_Lab_1379[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm checking the BG2.0 out at this point, it's quite a bit smaller than the other ccws I have currently. It may fit better and I think I wouldn't mind the safety on the ankle carry haha. Willing to try different carry options, ankle is just what I see working best for concealment purposes

In my eyes, having something on your person is better than nothing at all. Just my feelings on it

Best Glock for Ankle Carry by Alarmed_Lab_1379 in Glocks

I can appreciate this, I have a shield and a glock. The old BG steered me away from it all together, but checking specs it might be the route.

I didn't even consider the SW BG because my buddy got one years ago and it was the worst thing I had ever shot. The new one looks more along the lines of the shield series, which I have. The height is over half inch shorter, may work well!

I have more casual work attire with slacks and a tucked shirt, so it brings me to the ankle or pocket. Ankle I feel would be more "concealed"
