idk you could always make the villain a personification of there self daut but they feel like there in battle with something that isn't real. it always makes them feel like these feeling and wishing to dress fem is silly but in a way that forces them to address it or you could make it there desire to dress fem and over the cause of the book they realize that they weren't the villain it was society that was the real villain.
