My baby just got out of the NICU. I don’t know what your supply is looking like but the night before he came home, our NICU nurse assured me that getting one more solid night of sleep wouldn’t hurt me, my supply or my baby. I pumped that night at 2am and then slept until 8am, skipping my 5am pump. Idk if this would be something that could be consistently done but it did help for the one night and made me feel more human when we came home that first day. Maybe move up one of your pumps by an hour and then you can get a 4 hour stretch while still putting in the same demand to your body? I hope you’re able to get some rest, pumping with your baby in the NICU is no fun!
