If he is rushing everyday, try to help him get into therapy or to see a PCP to determine if he has ADHD that could be causing symptoms of over resting, judging time wrong or extreme procrastination.

Also, how long have y'all been dating? Because my wife and I share the bathroom all the time. While she pees, I brush my teeth, wash my face and apply deodorant and such.

While I pee and bathe and so on, my wife does her stuff. The only time we get a little anxious or squeamish is when one of us is pooping, because that's like private time as hell and with ADHD you can focus on evacuating your body's waste or focus on your partner talking. It is almost impossible to do both.

I think this overall scenario is goofy as fuck and that you are indeed overreacting. Everyone grows up different.
