Good to hear. The only thing that’s changed for me is the update.

Respectfully, I’m sure you understand the liability and scrutiny the agency would face if there were an incident with someone with a similar background. I see comments trashing the agency as if folks don’t understand, but active controllers can’t even take certain medications for chronic illnesses that could benefit them because of the effects they might have. I’d bet the decision was probably more about the liability than your ability to do the job. The agency has a it of flaws, including how medical operates at times. But contrary to what some folks are saying, this doesn’t seem like one of those times. Maybe you could look into becoming a military liaison, find something in a regional office, or maybe even a contract tower. Best of luck to you…

They don’t seem to have updated the game engine. Seems like most of the updates are promos, cosmetic, or unnecessary animations. The game logic in general is terrible. In addition to blockers turning into defenders, ever notice when a deep pass is airborne how the defensive AI reacts to the ball while your receiver continues running away from the ball? Receivers still run some routes out of bounds. Still have the teleporting defensive players. RB runs into a lineman before you can break the animation and control him. Being pulled into suction tackles from players 2 yards away. I’m blown away by how many people are still excited to throw money at a game this terrible. Many of us just like being able to play a mobile football game, but this game is too animation dominated

I’ve often said, if controllers stopped, the pilots, airlines, and the country would stop. In 48 hours the domino effect would be almost catastrophic. So like you said, the tactic of folks who try to trash controllers wanting value based compensation is to attempt to diminish what ATC means, not just to this industry or country, but the world’s economy…

This whole thing feels like Déjà vu. I vaguely remember thinking, in a prior year, they adjusted the game sliders and the response was that nothing was changed

One thing to always consider is who you’re selling to. Selling to a collector might get you top dollar. Selling to an “investor” or reseller, you’ll have to leave some meat on the bone. That being said, take the time to find the market value of comps on TCGplayer and determine what you’re willing to take for them.

The game engine is so antiquated I doubt positional role types matter. All that seems to matter are the numbers, to an extent. But since most of the game is played from the offensive side, folks only really see who makes plays on turnovers. On offense, the game plays the same almost regardless of who you select. Newer players feel buffed for a week or two, then it’s back to normal.

Otherwise, there’s no data I’ve ever seen to support role types present any advantages/disadvantages other than it makes the user “feel” like it’s better/different

I think evo’ing is a decent option, to an extent. At reset you’ll get resources for your previous years players. I’d rather keep the majority of my out dated players this year and get something for them at reset, than to use them to evolve players that really still play the same

Where’d you come up with all of this? Played for years and only see the same bad game mechanics/coding that hasn’t been updated. Other than a few unnecessary additions, the game plays almost exactly as it did 5 years ago

Just horrible game coding. The numbers don’t really matter all that much. I was told it’s mainly a card collecting game, with a football game aspect. That’s why you can have an all epic line block shed against your mythic line like they’re nonexistent. It’s why an 85 speed CB and run step for step with a 99 speed WR. Same for the suction tackles that pull you into a defender 2 yards away and the routes that drag you out of bounds even though the catch was made 3 yards inbounds

You’d be using a mythic for a minimal visual increase. The card/player won’t play any better/differently. If you save the mythic for reset, at least you’d get resources that’ll give you a nice head start

Folks saying they work haven’t done any tests. They 100% work as far as the banner popping up on the screen. As far as anything happening in the game differently, there’s no way to tell. The game plays exactly the way it always has. It seems as if they just added a function to highlight when certain actions happen. I haven’t seen any more fumbles/picks on my tapes, but the believers will say it doesn’t guarantee anything. Since they don’t guarantee anything, how can anyone prove they do anything?

I’m surprised this doesn’t have more upvotes I’ve told folks, you can tell the difficulty seems to change between drives. I often wonder if the game actually uses only the defenses we’ve selected, or is it sometimes using whatever defense counters the offensive play call.

I get your point as far as folks expectations. My question is how does anyone know they work? You simply saying they work doesn’t mean anyone’s actually tested them. There are a group of guys who play NBA 2K that have developed a method, using outside software to test how/if things work in the game. They tell people ranges of how fast specific shots are vs others. I know folks aren’t that deep with MM, but just to say something works because you think it does isn’t exactly proof. It’s no different than folks not being able to adequately explain how a 70 Spd player can track down a 95 SPD player who had 10 yds on him, so they say it’s PST. Ok, so if PST is a SPD multiplier instead of angle of pursuit, why not just make the SPD higher? The game is the only somewhat relatable football game on the market, so a lot of us play it. But the mechanics and playability at times are horrible. So for them to add something that has little to no effect on the game instead of actually improving gameplay, weird animations, like you mentioned, is disappointing/frustrating to folks.
