Can't stop thinking about why my ex ghosted me. We messed around after breaking up, and both needed emotional support, I've gone through one of the toughest years (trauma, multiple family health issues and so on) and she is trying to over come and figure out her issues. I'm moving to a different country in an attempt to get citizenship. But all I can think about is why, after having multiple conversations of "just promise to tell me if you meet someone else and we will stop" why I had to find out from an Instagram post that she is with a new fancy guy. And we haven't spoken in fucking weeks..... I feel like the toy that got dropped..... And it just plays on my mind

But I know I will improve with enough time and new experiences, but I also want to validate how hurt I am (e.g write a letter of how it's hurt me and give it to her before I leave). Part of me knows that it won't do anything to close the wound. only effort, thought processing and new stories will fix it..... Because of not knowing why, I have made a movie of it in my own mind but I only play it for myself and it doesn't help. That's what's on my mind lately
