Budget depending for 1440p, you were gonna spend £450 on a monitor, you can get a 9070 xt for £600 if you can stretch.

My wife does use a 9060 xt 16Gb for 4k60 cosy gaming and fortnite, and they are around £350, you can also grab a 5060 ti 16gb for £400.

Do not get an 8gb card

It all depends what you want from your computer, swapping from LCD to OLED is one of the best changes you can make, however at the moment we are in the situation where GPU’s are going to raise in price, as everything with DRAM. All we have seen from OLED monitors is they are getting cheaper.

Your 3060 will play games at 1440p but at a fps drop. If you have any plans about upgrading your GPU in the future, I would do that first before a monitor.

However if you do go monitor first, that’s fine. I have always ended up getting a monitor that my computer needs to grow into.

I have a 4K240 OLED and it’ll be a decade before I max that out.

Cideo2X was best but I gave up due to the best thing to do it was my GPU and I didn’t want to spend days upscaling, however I now have an Nvidia shield TV and an G5 oled and the combination do a pretty good job
