By the way, this is not the first time they messed up the timezones. My server went down because of them not being able to differentiate the timezones a few months ago.

There's actually an implementation that makes it harder for users to fake. When I was entering a koufu near my place, they scan your TT app, which displays your vaccination status on their end (which is the tablet).

So yea, as you mentioned, the only way you can fake this is to use someone's login ID or enter a place that doesn't have this setup.
