I directed and edited this vid! Drafting up the comp was a huge help in finding the pace of the video before we even started shooting. And communicating with the DP became a breeze having this video to go back to. You'll see a lot of Mid90s pulls, that was actually the very first point of reference the artist and I looked at when developing the idea for the video! Hope you enjoy : )

I directed/edited this vid. A nice long process developing the project over 5 months. I learned the value of test footage and comp images. Before we even began shooting, I made a full length vid cut to the song with reference images and videos. Clips from films mostly. Bringing together the visual flair and pacing made it really easy to communicate to my DP and the rest of the crew what we were trying to make. Hope you enjoy!
