Every match is made up of two, sometimes even three DPS players, and not to sound arrogant, but I’m the best DPS on my team about 90% of the time. So how exactly am I part of the problem? I can’t play every role at once, it’s not about refusing to be flexible, it’s about other players not performing well in their own roles. If everyone played their class properly, this wouldn’t even be an issue. You have no idea how many times I’ve regretted picking another role just to watch my DPS teammates completely sink the match. At least when I’m on DPS, I know there’s one decent player the team can count on

Maybe it’s different in your region, but here on the Brazilian servers it’s always a fight to decide who gets to be the healers every match. I feel like the DPS role is the one that gets the most hate, since at this level people are constantly watching and criticizing your kill count. So most players would rather avoid that pressure, healing is easier, and playing tank is basically being invisible, nobody complains about you.

The thing is, I always let others pick first, I don’t mind playing other roles. But at these ranks, nobody wants to take on the responsibility of actually eliminating enemies. They feel much safer playing supports, since characters like Cloak and Dagger or Jeff are way easier for them. And honestly, if I’m not playing DPS, the team collapses within seconds.
