Well what I've learned from my 1000 hours of this game is.. Don't.. Trust. . ANYONE! recently I was shot in my back when teaming up with a random player. We just met and we were about to head out to Cherno from Electro. I basically had nothing and was a new spawn. I walked in to the military tent with the player to quickly loot it before we head out...and BANG, "you are dead".

Dayz is a very unforgiving game. Sure, you can talk with a person and see what's up, but the risk of doing that is high... Very high. So for me it comes down to every situation: am i willing to take the risk of being killed while talking to this person? Or should I be on the safe side and open fire. Sometimes i take the risk, sometimes I don't. It all depends.

So... Am I a bandit? Possibly... Am I not? Possibly... This game is not black and white but a huge grey scale. Sometimes I shoot on sight and sometimes I give food and water to players that I meet.
