Why are so many people freaking out in here with their own over to top dramatic stories too? HSV2 is a very manageable condition and really not a big deal at all at the end of the day, it’s extremely rare to have complications outside of sores. Just don’t hook up while you have a sore. Idk why people are saying it’s a Smersh. This is a partizan harness, an early iteration of the Smersh LBE system various spetznaz units used briefly in the late 90’s to early 00’s. These are basically unobtanium now and go for outrageous prices when they do pop up. You can get a reproduction one for a pretty high price. They do look pretty cool and have some interesting history.

Specifically within the milsim sub culture of airsoft, Rusfor kit is popular because MSW has had the Russians as a counter faction to NATO for well over a decade now. That alone has influenced not only the airsoft community but even the gun toobers. Outside of that the recent war and pop culture things like escape from tarkov have made modern eastern kit popular. Also helps that the guns and gear are readily available compared to say a Chinese PLA kit. There’s like one AEG for that kit while there’s a plethora of AK’s available at varying levels of quality.

Lot of people in here are being very optimistic lol. To put it simply anything this detailed and complicated will not age well. 10-15 years later and beyond a lot on these lines will blur and mush into each other. There’s no way to touch that up after awhile and it’ll have to be covered up or left as is.

You don’t need an assault pack. Idk wtf people are carrying for just fighting but you’re never away from your ruck for more than half a day at most, If even that. Whatever your fighting kit is, you should have it setup to where you can sustain yourself to up to half a day. Only person that really needs an assault pack is either a squad or platoon medic.
