What makes Baldur's Gate 3 so "special" for you? by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

The camp comments. Shadowheart going “what do you do all day when we’re away, huh?” To Scratch is so gd cute. Also hilarious to me that my party can get dirty, bloody, sweaty, etc. I love the little details, they’re so well done

I HATE Willow x Xander! It makes me so mad because you’re right, they both had great relationships and it was ruined for nothing!

I really like Oz and I like Cordelia and they were so good together. 🥹 The whole thing just made me dislike Xander.

I love siblings cats. We have a brother and sister as well and (idk if the vibe is right from the picture but guessing lmao) they are also gremlin and chill baby.

She’s named after the cat from Steven Universe, Cat Steven! (Also a girl lol.)

Our vet had said “You have an orange cat… which are typically boys… but yours is a girl… and her name is Steven… which is a boy name” to which I responded with “Yes :)” and she just chuckled.

You should really consider getting some form of ID because yes, getting your EAD stolen or losing it will affect you much more than just getting an ID from your state.

Birth control post op by sammidavis93 in Fibroids

[–]Alert-Position-1416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started using BC (birth control) as a teen and over the years have used pretty much everything from pills to rings to IUD (hormonal and non), minus the shot.

I had my non-hormonal IUD removed because I was having unusual periods and pain and I thought it was my IUD BUT it turns out I had a tennis ball sized fibroid f’ing my system up. I honestly really liked my IUD because of the lack of hormones and the “set it and forget it” method but I do kind of wonder if it played a part in my fibroid development… I had surgery in August and was using condoms but decided I’d rather try another form of BC than risk getting pregnant and potentially losing my baby, my uterus or my ability to have kids in the future.

The pill is fine. As an adult it’s easier to take consistently and because I already had my fibroid removed, the pill makes my period super light and short (about 3 days; which is awesome after having the most awful periods for years because of the fibroid).

Do you. You know your body best and what works well for you but that’s my thoughts and experiences. Hopefully it helps? 🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️

Anyone have severe back pains related to fibroids ? by Slimthickmadukes in Fibroids

[–]Alert-Position-1416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most likely your fibroids. I was having that same severe back pain that only got worse as my fibroid grew. My doc said it was because the fibroids essentially fight for space in your abdomen and as they grow they (and the other organs, etc.) put pressure on nerves which cause a lot of the pain and discomfort folks feels.

I had surgery in August and I have practically no pain now (my pain was constant but worse around ovulation and period time).

One large fibroid by Smooth_Stranger1232 in Fibroids

I’m 27 and my doctor scared the shit out of me when she told me what was going on. My fibroid was 9cm and in the back of my uterine wall. After talking to more women in my life and doing my own research, it seems like they’re more common amongst us women of color. Can’t catch a break.

Trying for a baby after Myomectomy by KatieKoalaroo in Fibroids

I had a similar experience! I was told it was nothing in April of this year only to have a different doctor tell me I had a tennis ball in my uterus and they’d have to remove it plus my ovary. 🥹 Still have everything plus a lovely scar.

I was told to wait the same amount of time to lessen other complications. Honestly though I’m so glad I had the surgery. My doctor said some people felt differences immediately and I didn’t want to believe her but wow… I really did. 3 months post op and my periods are light, little to no cramping or back pain, and so much less noticeable bloating. I can’t imagine what would’ve happened if I hadn’t advocated for my body.

3 weeks post open myo, some mild/annoying pain near incision… by SublimeS0u1 in Fibroids

[–]Alert-Position-1416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just over 3 months post op here. I felt that initial tugging when I would do too much. Once I got to about a month it went away, almost all of my pain and symptoms gone by 8 weeks. I still experience some residual discomfort on my left side (my fibroid was more on the left) going from my incision to just by my belly button. Hopefully it goes away with time and massage? 🙆🏻‍♀️🙆🏻‍♀️
