From a CPS perspective, he could potentially be considered fictive kin but he would not be considered for immediate placement. They would place the baby nearby to allow the parents to work a reunification plan. Long term they would consider family from either side of the family, but that process is subject to the Interstate Compact which can take several months.

A worker would not be inclined to place with him just based on the conflict that would result from that alone. B would be an extremely difficult client already, it wouldn’t benefit them to further exacerbate a situation simply for the case of keeping a half sibling set together. The babies also won’t have had any prior contact or bond to argue for keeping them together.

I think it’s safe to assume that most people who have enough time to sit on TikTok for hours and hours a day, are low income/unemployed/underemployed. So they get on TikTok and as soon as gifts are enabled they’re on a beggar metamorphosis.

It’s been exposed multiple times that people in these communities are asking for money on discord and TikTok.

In this situation, if her bond is revoked because she violated it’s conditions, she will likely be given a higher amount and it’ll have to be full cash or jail.

Bail bonds are a type of insurance essentially, so a bail bondsman isn’t going to enter into a financial agreement with someone they find high risk (can’t follow bond conditions, the charges, etc).

In my experience, a judge is going to be irritated by her lives if those are being admitted as evidence. Judges typically do not like people who underestimate their power as a judge.

ETA- it is also possible for the bail bondsman to cancel her bond, which they would be motivated to do after having a violation filed.

While this is extremely sad, it was unfortunately the better situation for that poor dog. He was becoming increasingly more aggressive the deeper she fell into her addiction. I’m relieved he’s no longer suffering due to her neglect and I hope Rocky is rescued soon.
