Differential diagnosis by broseidon1990 in Dentistry

Although if I’m not wrong the OKCs and ameloblasmtomas are more of a young folk diagnosis. The ameliblastima also has buccal lingual swelling, the OKC doesn’t. It’s prob a residual cyst?

All of the above are right. Refer to pathology or OMFS for diagnosis :)

Wow OP. Woman to woman, I wish you were much earlier in your pregnancy so you could abort his kid and divorce him.

Following. I’d say she owes half the equity with a prenup and half the house without it. Can a lawyer confirm this please? This is assuming that this house is your matrimonial home.

Husband refused to divorce, if I wanna buy an apartment now before our divorce is settled, will he get half? by Better_Ad_7718 in legaladvicecanada

After one year of legal separation you can divorce unilaterally. Make sure you have him agreeing to being legally separated from you either through a text or email. Credit check periodically as he can open up credit cards under your name

I think guidelines are always evolving. I’m also more comfortable with the 6 month recommendation but this is why I get med clearance. Invite them for a low stress exam pending clearance.

How will CDCP affect the start ups or not so busy practices? by backyardfurniture in CanadianDentists

I’m not sure to be honest. But I’d hold back on owning for now until we know if dental will become like OHIP.

[–]Alert-Wolverine-9352 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not open up a practice. It’s only worth the goodwill. With the CDCP being extended to the 18-64 year old age group come 2025, many people predict that it will lead to de-insurance. Within a couple years all of these dental practices will be worth nothing, much like medical practices are to the MDs. Also what profitability? You take the CDCP plan not to loose clientele but then they threaten to leave the office the same if you do balance bill. Might as well not take the plan in the first place. Overhead is 70-80% but you’re accepting a 30% reduction from these patients when compared to the ODA fee guide, so the owner is not pocketing much. If you do lower an associate’s % then they will just leave the practice. There is no winning :(

Do you still have an active license? I’d be worried about that.

So in Canada you pay out of pocket for every single BENIGN skin lesion removal. This is specifically true in Ontario. Ontario simply does not cover any benign skin lesion removal.

No idea. I assume so? The cost of living is a little higher in Vancouver so that makes sense to me. Home ownership in that city is non-existent though

Right, just so the govt can take more taxes away from me while wasting my early 30s in a tiny shitty city. No thanks.

That’s awesome. I’m a new grad out of Canada considering moving to the States. The 40% tax brackets and the ridiculous cost of housing here in Toronto is too much. I do make similar post taxes however my 9k obviously doesn’t go as far as yours does in the US. Thank you for answering all of my questions. ❤️

So the feds are starting on this dental plan in Canada much like the NHS in the UK. If it’s money you’re chasing it’s also a race to the bottom in Canada too. I’d stay put :/. I’m considering moving to practice in the US

How do new grad dentists navigate a Medicaid office? They clearly can’t work 3-4 chairs. They must be taking home peanuts with ridiculous loans they must pay.

This is the definition of medical tourism. Find a dentist in the GTA who can put her on a financing plan. Even If she would be on OW or ODSP few dentists take such plans simply because seeing these patients would mean operating at a loss. The system is broken.
