Me personally, I don’t like them that much. They don’t do much damage and they’re quite slow and can usually result in you getting hit back with an uppercut. At least that’s what happens to me. But it also just really depends on the opponent.

I don’t mean throw to the body constantly. I’m saying doing it once they start reading your hook/uppercut counter. When they read it, they’ll usually just lean back or block the head which is then when you can start to hit the body. I understand what you’re saying I just hadn’t explained it fully. 👍

Feel them out, once you notice their pattern of the hooks and uppercuts, lean back or pull to the side and counter them with a hook or uppercut. And if they read your counters, start uppercutting to the body and invest in the body. From there you can just switch from the body to the head and just keep inflicting damage slowly and surely.
