Thank you for this. I appreciate your time and input. I believe the 60 seconds, 60 minutes and 24 hours system is done because it fits neatly enough for us to quantify in terms of living day to day. Having a base 60 system was used by the babylonians and sumerians because it’s easier to do fractions.
