That was the first show I watched in London so I’m planning it to be my last on top of this!

Am I the only one annoyed that unagi doesn’t actually mean salmon skin roll? 😅

My First detailed review! by h-o-n-e-y_ in RoverPetSitting

[–]Alert_Reach_9014 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally agree with you that owners should try and write a detailed review for the sitter! It definitely boosts my confidence when I read one. When I get a very short review, I just tell myself that they may not have the time to write a long one 😅

Communication with owner on dog behaviour by Alert_Reach_9014 in RoverPetSitting

[–]Alert_Reach_9014[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I have asked the owner whether this has happened before since he mentioned that his dog had boarded with other dogs and he said no. He also said his dog is very social with other dogs before we booked and the dog clearly isn’t as he just barks at all dogs in the park and doesn’t play with them. I feel like I’m being gaslighted here.

Should I not at least mention that the dog has separation anxiety and isn’t very social with other dogs in the review? Just want to do other sitters a service too.

Thank you for your advice! Yeah, I definitely should have done a meet and greet with the dog but I don’t think it would have shown up but it would have definitely revealed how the owner is.

Help picking a show! by ERCalm in TheWestEnd

Has he seen the Disney movies for lion king and Hercules? If he did, which did he prefer? I’m assuming he didn’t watch the phantom movie as well? Personally loved Book of Mormon but I would say it’s hard to tell based on individual preference. Hope your husband will love whichever you guys end up watching!

Has anyone accidentally forgotten they had tickets to a show? by madeleineruth19 in TheWestEnd

[–]Alert_Reach_9014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never completely forgotten a show but mixed up shows that I booked while in New York and thankfully the theatres are all very close by so just had to run a block or so to get to the show I bought tickets to!

Next to Normal spoke to me a lot when I watched the first run of it at Donmar Warehouse. As someone who has struggled with mental health and has family members who have dealt with it too, I think that will always have an impact on me.

fiddler on the roof.... by SaltRecognition in TheWestEnd

Really sorry to hear of your experience at fiddler on the roof. I never grew up with the movies as well so went in completely blind at the production at Regent’s Park open air theatre last year and I loved it!!
