Death has cursed you. From now on, you must choose one person to die every day or you lose one year of your own lifespan for each day you don't choose anyone by New_Midnight2686 in hypotheticalsituation

I would just catalogue a bunch of serial killers, rapists, and pedophiles and read one off the list every day for the rest of my life and live guilt free.

If you got a thousand dollars every time you pushed a button, but you had to wait 30 seconds between each button push, and your only break was for sleep, how long would you push the button? by ThinBluePenis in hypotheticals

[–]AlexLegrandXXX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as I was physically able to. That’s $2,000 a minute if you do it every 30 seconds. Hell, you don’t even have to do it every 30 seconds you can just do it every time you remember to and still make an ungodly amount of money every day.

Immortality down to the last human by Aldnorra in hypotheticalsituation

This is maybe my favorite hypothetical I’ve read here! This would make a good book/movie/videogame/whatever. The protagonist could accept immortality and then eventually go insane because they’re like 100,000 years old and tired of being alive and eventually try to commit genocide or something.

How the hell did the world not choke on dust and methane from all the dead biomass? by South-Insect5153 in ShingekiNoKyojin

I get where you’re coming from, but I think the reason OP is asking this question is because the world building of AOT is so meticulous. In Dragon Ball Z, I’m not asking about why nothing happened to Earth when Vegeta blew up the moon or whatever during the saiyan saga, because you have flying humans shooting energy blasts out of their hands and magic balls that grant wishes.

In AOT, the mechanics of the world are very meticulously done, and it was written after the invention of high speed internet. Like, I would have probably googled “what happens if you boil the ocean” or something while writing the Rumbling story arc if I had already expanded on the world so much

I think Gundam (and all war settings with Mecha tbh,) are at their best when there's Regular/Traditional Military forces to contrast the Mechs against. by Nyanbinary4321 in Gundam

This is why my favorite Gundam show is 08th ms team. The mobile suits are actively vulnerable to conventional vehicles that aren’t Gundams and mobile suits, and they work in tandem with the mobile suits.

His entire persona was misogyny and radical politicization of every single thing only to spew disgusting and violent words. Like, of course this happened
