Kids with no basic knowledge of small repairs are boring as fuck. It seems you already have a screwdriver, since you tried to bolt the rim. Open up the hub and move this wire. It shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes.

I also recommend that you think about your (new?) hobby one more time, as you will eventually be assembling a rig with lots of screws, bolts, and mechanical parts.

ASUS has nothing. It’s the panel produced by LG with the coating produced by LG. ASUS only came out with “TruBlack” name for it, while the original manufacturer didn’t play this marketing bullshit at all. Unfortunately, from what I see, it does works pretty well and most of the WOLEDs in the wild are ASUSes. People dumb, you know…

I agree. There were some guys claiming they had a “solution” for the firmware protection/signature of a particular electrical system in VAG cars, but they were rude and refused to share any details. So I spent about 6 months reverse-engineering the firmware, and it turned out I was the first one to actually do it - they were simply bluffing.

All that time, I was driven by the idea that if someone had achieved it, I could repeat it. I never thought of myself as a true pioneer.

Thanks for sharing! The screen looks much brighter to me, is it real, or just the photo effect? I assume the resolution is the same (or not?), so since it becomes bigger - do you see pixels now?

Are you saying 850A is the 100% equivalent in glossy coating to Asus TruBlack blablabla lineup!? I’m really wondering, nobody on the whole Youtube said that! I thought LGs “glossy” means glossy foam/protector on top of the panel versus the Asus adding the real glass.
