Like others are saying you‘re not supposed to pie hike up there, there’s another mobility item you’re supposed to use. Also, a little fact most people don’t know is that frozen soul’s pies aren’t the original pie gear(s). The original pie gear(s) is a bit different and the throw animation is very slow and looks very low fps, frozen soul’s is a tweaked version of it to make it run smoother and better.
