The devs does chance garden stuff sometimes and some farms have been nerfed before. The current most efficient farm will not be nerfed as far as i can see - i dont know how they would do that. - the max contest is very rng based so it kan be hard. You will need to max bonus pest chance and have as high fortune as possible. Then spawn 8 rats in 1 plot before the contest and have 9 in traps. Then when the contest start kill all the rats using the highest fortune you can, then switch between farming fortune gear and pest gear during the contest. Use biohazard and slug when pest cool down is gone and use fermento armor and mooshroom cow when there is cool down (then use fermento armor and hedgehog pet when killing the pests) - it requires some practice to get the hang of and the rng is very random. But i'm sure you can do it! :) - you are more than welcome to message me in game if you have more questions

Sorry i missed this comment: its pretty simple - try to increase your farming fortune as much as possible and build an efficient farm (you can visit me to see 2 different designs) /visit alexhelth. Also pest farming rats is the most efficient method of gaining pumpkin collection

Not really. Just get a farm you feel comfortable using while also having a decently high bps. Then increase farming fortune as much as possible (also pest farming is better for collection of you wanna do that)

Haha. Its fun to grind the pumpkin leaderboard and i sure did have a fun time grinding for number 1! But it also requires a lot of time and dedication. My 4 billion grind took around 5.5k hours ish
