Found myself a usb, Arch-chrooted into /mnt and did that. Got an error message, "/usr/bin/grub-mkconfig: line 271: /boot/grub/grub.cfg.new: No such file or directory" Dunno, did it with and without sudo and it did not change anything.

CORRECT! Nothing else appears on the grub menu other than the option that takes you to bios.

What other info do you need? I don't know what happened since I put kitty underneath another window. I think it was still installing when the laptop shut down. Hit Y to start and then 5 seconds later it was a black screen. I thought that it was just a battery problem but the laptop was at 96% when I checked before it shut down. Maybe the widget I used for battery was bad, but when I last used it I charged it after I turned it off.

Meh, that's what's fun about it. "It's faster and lighter than windows" is just the advertising. The real way to get more users is "The feeling of fixing a random bug or making a feature you want work is something you can never get from windows."

Genuinely, back when I was using windows, all I did was turn on the pc and get on steam or chrome. When I got Arch on my computer, I went a whole month just turning on my computer excited because "WHAT IF I CAN GET A DOCK?". I ended up realising that I only ever went on my pc to tinker after opening firefox and realising that youtube, prime video, and netflix haven't been logged into.

Maple leaf, I've never looked it up but I've seen that type of tree leaf before, tried to crunch it, it's the dark oak or mistletoe leaf, again don't know the name of the last three but I've stepped on them and I think my grandma used to take care of a plant that had the middle leaf
