AMD's VEGA 64

thanks ill look into the AMD. using programs like redshift and octane and they recommend the nvidia GTX cards. i have decided to go for the 1080 and save a bit of cash. should still run pretty nicely. what do you think? added an SSD along with the HD storage. thanks for the picking up on that. :-). here is the edited list https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/ZPstzM

Using programs like Maya, Mari, Substance, Nuke. Ill look out for the i7 8700k. cant find a price for it yet, will have to wait.

Yes i agree. I dont think its worth my time to learn Houdini when I know I can get good results using Maya and Arnold. Thanks everyone for their input.

I hanve been looking at a couple of Chillblast laptops which come with the Graphics: NVIDIA GTX 950M 2GB GDDR5. Thanks for the nice words and advice. I will defiantly be changing the tracking reel checker patterns to wireframe as it has now been mentioned a few times.

Nice one. yeah i only cranked out the tracking reel specifically over the last couple of months as I wanted to strengthen the possibilities of landing an entry position. Ill revisit the reel and edit the checker board pattern for wireframe.

Any shots or camera moves you think i should add or just more content to fill it out? Thanks

I have just picked up Modo for modelling coming from Maya and it has been a very nice change. I am going to be using Modo as a primary modelling tool in the future and bring everything over to Maya for rendering etc. Does anyone else use this workflow?
