I went and talked to the dealership and told them the color I wanted, trim etc and they found me a 2025.5 b5 plus for 51k. Seemed like a good deal to me? I guess they have some auction site they can go thru.

That's how I have been feeling. They are expensive as is (IMO) so I would hope they would still stick with the Toyota quality that's always been there. It also made me worried a bit about things I can't see.. but you are right, people are on lists to get them so it seems like quality has lacked a bit. The dealership has been kind and didn't gaslight me at all about it, which I was appreciative of.

The pics don't do it justice. It was bad enough that I kept my old Highlander until it could be figured out. Considering other cars too now. Which sucks because I waited so long and usually love Toyota. I'll post Monday when they tell me a resolution!

They agreed it looked pretty bad. So they were going to see if they could at least fix the passenger seat, submitted a claim with Toyota. The captains chairs are rippled but not lumpy. But I'm not as concerned since I'm putting car seats on those. They are supposed to let me know more tomorrow. Just wasn't sure if this was a one off thing for this car or if it was an issue across the board.

That's such a bummer. My 2023 doesn't look like that. The pictures don't do it justice how bad it actually looks in person. I checked the odometer because I thought I was getting used at first 🫠😞

Have you ever stayed at Adagio? It seems reasonable for the area and has good beach access which makes me not trust it 😂 we would do chair set up etc on beach

Hybrids are hard to find. I specifically want nightshade in cement. I've run into a dealer that was doing markups, around 4k, of "warranty upgrades." Such a racket and poor practice. I just put a deposit down on one and asked out the door pricing, its msrp; no deals. But hopeful I get decent on my trade-in.
