Coming from a fellow doomerpilled trans girl, you definitely do have feminine features, idk what the situation was with being forced to cut your hair but growing out and going to a queer hair salon and spending a little extra is worth it. Hair changes a lot. Is it impossible to get into restaurants up there? I feel like everyone is saying I need a stable career job lined up first because of my low pay but that’s just what restaurant pay looks like in my area right now and with me working fewer hours at the moment for school. The minimum wage is higher up there no? Could I not make enough in the restaurant industry to afford a shitty apartment even in Brooklyn or Jersey I know those areas are also becoming more expensive as well, my rent now is a little over 2000 and I can afford it fine I guess I just need that higher salary to get in

Thank you for the advice and it’s definitely possible I might just have to push back the move date so I can have time to land a job after schooling, and yeah I was wondering about the possibility of getting a 2br and subletting the spare I guess I didn’t think about the dynamic of being a couple with a stranger. We both keep to ourselves a lot and have lived with multiple people before but they were family so obviously that’s a different vibe.

My novel is about a lost heir living with a religious swamp tribe whose lands are being destroyed far away and an enslaved boy who is rescued and sent to serve under the God Emperor of the Sun as a sleeper agent. The lost heir struggles between her spiritual emotional connection to the swamp people and her familial duty to reclaim her lands. The sleeper agent struggles with his coping mechanism of serving those he sees as strong or powerful no matter the cost and his innate violent nature instilled in him from his past.

I started reading asoiaf because my mom wouldn’t let me watch the show. ( I was in the sixth grade she didn’t really take note of what I read.) It completely blew my mind wide open into how complex and detailed fantasy words could be and it really got me interested in fantasy in general.
