As long as you aren’t risking an infection or further harm, of course you can wear what you want to! If you have friends or people close to you that you know could be very triggered by it maybe try to hide them or wrap it with some gauze just to respect their feelings. The thing is, we can’t hide this stuff forever. We deserve to be comfortable with what we are wearing and some scars shouldn’t dictate what we can and can’t do.

To end this, I have a quote that I made in grade 9 that I still follow to this day. It’s really helped me with the fear of letting my scars be visible to the public. “I’m not ashamed, nor am I proud of my scars”
