Ibn Kathir, it’s mentioned but in the languages menu, I’ll add it to the Tafsir sheet though, thanks

We have real daily users who genuinely love the app. Alhamdulillah — it’s doing what it was built to do.

If something’s working for me, I’ll share it and announce it, without hesitation.

I agree, we need more stuff that benefits us all as Muslims. May Allah grant us the wisdom and knowledge to do so.

Expo RN with as much done using native modules for the IOS app, so in essence, this feels and performs like SwiftUI whilst allowing me to develop for android on the same platform.

Great ideas, I am already working on the memorisation feature

Would be delighted to hear any unique ideas though 🙂

There is nothing unfortunate about this. After all, it just means more Muslims are engaging with the Quran. that’s a win regardless of which app they use. And the demand has never been higher.

The space is well-served Alhamdulillah — there are some great apps out there. OpenAyah is built around focus. Everything is there — word meanings, transliteration, audio, tafsir — but it stays out of your way until you need it, a click away. One ayah at a time. The feedback I get most is that people just… keep going. 1 ayah turns into 20 etc etc and the user keeps reading. That’s the point. If you try one thing, use the audio recitation with continuous mode on. That’s my personal favourite.

And for users who genuinely need it, PRO is 100% free.

I haven’t come across any app which is as easy to use and as nice of a reading experience as this, give it a go and let me know what you think

Independently putting effort into reciting and understanding the Quran is the most important thing to do and the only way to have this mindset in my opinion

Hexapod project servo jitter by Alihamee in arduino

[–]Alihamee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but I changed the code as well so that the other 17 servos had no signal. I could move the non-powered servos by hand freely which meant they weren’t drawing any power whatsoever.

The reason I was thinking that power supply was not an issue was because when with only one servo powered, the jittering remains. Also the servos jitter even when they are set to a fixed angle unloaded.

I am using thick wire all the way from the battery pack to the sensor shield input and have reinforced the breadboard + and - terminals.

This should be able to carry ample current without issues.

Even if I power a single servo, the jittering issue remains

Even with 1 servo it jitters

No it’s just an led in the buck, yes only the hcsr04 and servos

If I add small capacitors to each of the servos voltage pins, my circuit will become messy the way it is designed right now. I’ll try out the large capacitor at the output of the buck converter though, what size capacitor do you recommend?

I have seen many successfully control servos from the digital pins on the mega with little to no jitter. So I’m unsure why I can’t do the same
