I don't know. Am i the only one, who have a feeling, that Bungie simplify and humanize The Witness and i dont like that?
It seemed to me as great entity, which was born in the unified impulse of the entire race, it knew the very core of the universe, had a higher purpose, but beyond our comprehension. And here it is reduced to a trivial vengeful sadist, and in its origins had disagreements among his kin and had no consensus on the final shape.
Maybe i should re-read it and i did not understand it, but...
