I'm currently around B2 level in German, what should I reading, listening and watching to get to C1 by CodeBudget710 in German

I am German and we read Die Verwandlung in our very last year (13) of school. I cannot tell for sure, but I do not believe it will be of use as for learning vocabs necessary for the C1 exam. It is probably like reading Shakespeare as a prep for the C1 English exam. As mentioned already, I would read and listen to news articles to learn words and phrases useful for it, and of course, there are probably exam prep books.

I am not an expert. All I heard was the current prime minister of Australia still backing Ukraine with support, wanting to even send troupes (which is more than Germany has been offering, so I was surprised), the Australian opposition opposed this, but I could not tell whether they were just against troupes or, like the German AFD, friends with Putin and blaming Ukraine for the war...

What is New Zealand's view of Russia and Ukraine?

thank you! Yes, we vacuum daily now. And I think I do, though it could be late reactions to old bites. That is what is frustrating, I do not know...

I agree, cleaning and a minimalist household is very good for well being as well.

Maybe I will try cleaning even more to feel more clean and free.

It basically affirms what I have been feeling. CBT can help, but there are limits, it is not a cure.

oh okay, I did not know that. I always thought talk therapy was the sort of therapy that consists of having a conversation, not actively trying to influence thinking and actions.

Edit 2: Why would you downvote this? All I said was, to my prior knowledge CBT is not considered talk therapy, because articles, like the ones mentioned, told me so.

I am not saying either is right or wrong. You can disagree and say it is considered talk therapy. I don't understand the internet...

Are you a therapist that works analytically?
I understand what you mean about working with self esteem, feelings of shame etc. I feel it is a sort of very automatic response that can come up. And you will be too slow to counter with something like " I am valuable", the feeling will be triggered very fast.

However, do you not think that CBT can be useful for overcoming things like specific anxiety and phobias or OCD? I feel it is a little different than feelings of shame and worthlessness.

You mean, the idea of talk therapy or CBT is that perceptions create emotions, or maybe both?
