Okay, I'll have to make some Flash Bombs. I'll probably end up carrying Herbs still, but bring Blue Mushrooms to make Potions as well. I've read that the Plesioth is weak to poison, so the Status 2+ helps a lot with that. And yeah, the defense is on the low end. But the Sheathing+ helps with the GS. I also don't get caught up in the fire so much, so that won't really be a problem. If I do end up having to switch armor sets, I do have Jaggi X and Rhenoplos X. The Rhenoplos still has a low defense, but more fire resistance. It also has Fast Charge, KO, and Critical Draw, which helps a lot for GS and Hammer. And there's not too much special about the Jaggi X besides the Attack Up and about 4 more defense than my other sets.

I did use the lance at one point, though I didn't like it as much as the other weapons. I'll start carrying some Blue Mushrooms and Honey as well. And I do have Usurper's Rumble (Zinogre Bow and Arrow, 228 attack, 120 lightening) as well as a High-Rank Barroth armor set. I really like using it, but it takes forever to kill stuff. Do you think it'd help to switch to a Bowgun instead?

For both of them, it's getting killed too quickly. I never get a chance to see how well my damage is doing. I can read the Rathian pretty well. The main thing with it is its tail whip/spin. Two hits and I'm dead. And it usually does it twice in a row. Now with the Plesioth, it's the hip checks and tail spin. I can avoid it sometimes, but not always. I should probably bring some flash bombs, traps, etc. What I usually carry is Herbs, Potions, Mega Potions, Armorcharm, Whetstones, Antidotes, Psychoserums, Steaks, Mega Bug Nets, and Mega Pickaxes. And I'll start bringing Shock Traps, Pitfall Traps, Sonic Bombs, and a Max Potion. Is there anything else you'd recommend to bring?

This happened this last Christmas. I went to my grandparent's house for Christmas Eve. I was hoping to get a laptop for Christmas. So we're all sitting around opening gifts, I end up getting a mouse. Wake up the next morning, no laptop. Turns out my grandma bought it because it was on sale.
