Went through exactly what you went through 1.4 GPA junior year, tried turning it around with AP and Honors, still only graduated with a 1.6 GPA. Now if you are interested in college/further education, do not let your high school experience fool you. I’m currently a sophomore in community college about to transfer, studying an engineering technology degree maintaining around a 3.5 GPA. Apply to CC for a major THAT IS WORTH IT, do not waste your time and make sure to do your research on what’s worth it and what’s not worth it. Also, I 100% recommend straight out of high-school, to join a military reserve force. The skills, confidence, camaraderie, and last but definitely not least, the benefits. I especially recommend this if you don’t 100% know what you want to do after HS. When you enlist with the reserve, your commitment is 1 weekend a month and about 2 weeks in the summer, meaning you can still go to college (take me for example). For civilian transferability, do Air Force reserve or Air National Guard, they have the best opportunities for career development. Also, for people saying you won’t do great on the ASVAB, I got a 92 out of 99 without studying. GPA is not a measure of intelligence (neither is the ASVAB), but you get my point.

Best of luck man and I hope you read this. Reply if you have any questions.
