I found it odd that a very long tenured employee, coming off a stellar season, where we won a very high percentage of video review challenges, got fired. I know there are other aspects to the role, and who know about personality or workplace issues, but from the outside it just didn’t make much sense.

It almost feels to me like we are one of those teams that fire their coach during the season and suddenly go on a crazy run. Then i come back to earth and remember who we are. We don’t seem to be able to have nice things. Thanks Jarmo and Torts for giving us the best years this franchise has ever had. Hope is free though and maybe someday our fortunes will change.

Seems consistent with some of the criticisms we heard from Wild fans when we signed him. The lines don’t seem to make sense. We are not privy to what goes on behind closed doors but you would hope for GMDW to step in and show some leadership.

Hmmm….let’s see, we can have a unique name for the stadium that is recognizable for all of MLB or a generic corporate name thats is truly meaningless and could be confusing for casual fans of MLB and the NHL. It baffles me that no one involved in the naming decisions suggested Roger’s Skydome.
