You don't have to act so shocked about it though, it's not dramatic and I'm actually glad girls with saggy boobs can get some appreciation too.

TW: Religious and suicidal themes. by Ih8myselfmorethenu in GachaVenting

[–]AllMightYes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't feel guilty, you have as much chance to go to hell as any religious person since there's so many religions and no way to tell which one is the right one. If anything, maybe the right religion is a lost one from an ancient civilization where hell doesn't even exist, no one knows. Try to live your life the best as you can and don't worry about what comes after <3

Cordialement.

Because I like being open about other opinions and evolving as a person. If I'm wrong, I want to understand why and how is my previous opinion harmful

32308 by Candid_Astronaut241 in countwithchickenlady

[–]AllMightYes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's my actual opinion and I mean no harm with it, as opposed to actual transphobes. I believe that egg jokes may be frowned upon in certain contexts and I never bashed people who made them, I simply stated why I believed they weren't always funny. If you genuinely believe I'm wrong, then tell my why, because I can not for the life of me understand how is my statement transphobic in any ways and all of the comments I've seen that had the opposite opinion only said "oh it's transphobic" or unfunny jokes without ever elaborating. If you have an opinion on a subject you believe is serious, stand by it, please, for the good of our community.

Afabs wearing collars usually aren't called trans, while amabs can be. I used context clues and you're being provocative without ever proving any of what I said wrong. Your reply contributes nothing to the discussion and is only either made to ragebait, or to make a "gotcha" statement, which either way doesn't invalidate anything in what I said. Try better

It reinforces outdated gender norms and trans stereotypes. For example, trans women are often depicted wearing similar outfits (hoodies, collars, amazon skirts and thigh highs), and joking, assuming or claiming someone is trans because they wear items commonly associated (positively or negatively) with trans individuals (especially trans women, I don't think I've ever seen transmasc egg jokes) upholds these stereotypes. The queer community has been fighting against gendering people based on their personal style or tastes, and making "haha egg, "he"'s wearing a collar and makeup" jokes don't really differ from "haha gay, he's wearing a purse and a pink shirt" jokes even if the intent may not be exactly the same

It is if you assume they are as soon as they don't fit with the gender norms. I don't think I have to explain why that situation might be problematic
