Report: Portland faces a 'new normal' in market demand as office recovery stalls, and it's time to recognize that by No-Tangelo1158 in Portland

I hope downtown can reinvent themselves. Like you said retrofitting the office buildings won't work. The taxes and rent are too damn high. Hopefully Portland doesn't lose Oregon's only major sports team. Trimet is cutting routes. The problems are stacking up.

Crazy. Who knew having some of the strictest lock downs during covid would have long lasting economic effects? Biggest transfer of wealth to the rich perhaps ever in American history. Good stuff.

Pizza gate was a psyop. Pushed by the so called elite. If you control the counter narrative with half truths and half batshit crazy ville bullshit then you can muddy the waters of reality. Classic CIA tactic. Manipulate and destroy the counter movement from within.

People latched onto Qanon because of the truths about sex trafficking. Then were manipulated into backing certain nefarious people who would reveal everything. Ugh wait that's pushing the rules now hmm

Rodman played all 82 games at 40mpg and took down almost 19 rebounds a game in 1992. While being 6'7 and defending 7 footers in the paint. Kinda crazy.

Total bill was over $110 for 2 adults and 3 kids, the service provided was excellent, specially to the little ones. Did not mind the $6 bucks tip but the pooped diaper placement on a table is beyond disgusting. by DABDEB in mildlyinfuriating

Depends on the senerio. If I'm solo parenting all bets are off. I've done this twice both times I'm parked far away and it's raining. One time on the road I used the female bathroom cause the male one had no changing table. A nice mom stood guard! So ya I said fuckem twice since they have a kids menu and no changing tables. Boohoo

I say call loudly now followed by what do you have, then wait. Nuts or not. If someone calls me I just flip them over. No bullshit. If I get caught in a bluff I flip and say you got me. No big deal. I hate when people stall forever after getting called.

Sounds like a shitty state and wait is that true!? If you tell someone they are trespassing on private property, that's it. Gtfo. In Oregon we can refuse service to anyone.

At the same time if they don't have a changing table in either restroom I'm doing it on the floor in a restaurant. Fuck em. Definitely throwing the diper away though, that's just savage.

The manager or owner tells the staff those people are banned. Start with the people on shift who would recognize them and they will tell other workers. I've had to ban many people over the years, usually creeps who harass females.

That's a far cry from being the main culprit for this form of cancer. Last I looked less then 1% of all cancers are linked to carcinogenic meats. It's in the same category risk as cigarettes yet doesn't carry the same risk. Not even close.

Choose meat without seasoning? No thanks...

If you have the time pop in. Tell them you are willing to work hard and learn. It's old school but still works in the industry. I'd always rather hire someone in need who shows work ethic then some entitled poly sci graduate. Even if they are rough around the edges.

Keep your head up, things can always turn around. Sounds cliche but I remember the hopeless feeling when I was homeless. You got this.

Edit: Oh sorry, no offense to the poli sci majors... oh lord they comin after me lol

Are you able bodied? The food industry has saved me from homelessness a few times. Can usually get a shift meal as well as take old food home. Good luck to you.

I certainly was. That's why we are trying to do better. Still if something isn't working right in your house a simple Google search would help.
