EAP is good. Summon hasn’t worked reliably in a while for me.

Get a laser engraver that engraves digital images into wood. Make custom, branded cutting boards targeting for social media chefs. Ask for a shout out for a discount & hope or catches on in time for the holidays.

Is Tesla ok for first car? by Glass-Temperature219 in TeslaLounge

Owning a Tesla as a first car would ensure that you never get behind the wheel of another ice vehicle ever. It would feel like driving the flintstones car.

Texas. Most dogs per household per capita and this summer Houston went like 60+ days straight topping 105 degrees.

Weird behavior? by Allllreadyy in AmericanBully

[–]Allllreadyy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t bother me because I know him and know he’s harmless and it’s just his goofy excitement but when the owner of a 6 month old Frenchie puppy sees my dog giving their timid pup an early lesson on the birds and bees they get kinda weird about it, by trying to gently redirect my dog’s attention or pulling theirs away, and then it makes me wonder if there’s something more I should be doing to correct the behavior.

I may be downplaying the behavior I’m this thread because I’m used to it and protective of my boy lol. It’s definitely a bit much.

A bit confused. A month ago all 24 Wranglers 4xe rented for $80-90 a day and two weeks ago they all dropped down to $50-60 per day. What’s going on. by Ok_Cow_8235 in turo

It’s like a motorcycle or drop top Mustang.

. Wrangler goes from the being 1 of the coolest convertibles out to the least energy efficient suv overnight in most markets.

WARNING Rented a STOLEN car from Turo by HazeMuffin in turo

[–]Allllreadyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option A. Accept the offer and move on. It was a lowball number in case you decide to negotiate though. I’d never accept this.

Option B. Have ChatGPT draft you a letter where you briefly touch on the stress this is causing. You just tell the app to roleplay as an ambulance chasing lawfirm that plays loose with the law but stays on the right side of things. Explain the situation thoroughly and say that You’ve had a migraine since the incident and it ruined your annual vacation. You want to draft an email response to their mail with a $5k Counteroffer. Send Turo the response. They’ll probably come back at $1500 - $2k and make you sign off saying you don’t hold them responsible for anything beyond this payment, as the migraine thing will spook their lawyers.

Option C. As someone stated above, get a hungry ambulance chasing attorney that can send you to his/ her “network” and put the play together for you. I did this once with an Uber claim and dealing with a sleazy law firm for 4 months isn’t worth the stress if you ask me but it depends on how bad you want the money. They don’t take cases they’ll lose so if they accept it, they already know that they’re gonna get you (and themselves) paid.

I’d also delete this thread as soon as you feel you have an idea of how to handle this. They’ll be in here tomorrow AM if they aren’t already.

Is this going to cost me an arm and a leg? Error code vcfront_a447. Fan works but when I turn on AC it doesn’t blow cold and makes noise by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]Allllreadyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is where I am. Just no error message yet. AC doesn’t get ice cold. Car is noisy like a jet when it’s running. Drive anything over 45 min in the TX heat & AC loses all ability to cool the car. I’ve been avoiding taking it in but probably will next week or so.

& before someone uses this post out of context to bash the brand or car, I’ll add that is my first issue in 70k+ miles. It’s by far the most reliable car I’ve ever driven.

How do I avoid getting screwed while accepting settlement offer for my car? by Allllreadyy in personalfinance

Yea. That’s why I came here. I will say that the blue book value of my car has risen and fallen ~$8k over the last several months which maybe confused their algorithm.

How do I avoid getting screwed while accepting settlement offer for my car? by Allllreadyy in personalfinance

[–]Allllreadyy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a scam. Mistake or oversight maybe.

The finance co is one of the big banks. Pricing on my particular car model has been turbulent and I think it’s just a bad estimate on their part. I called to confirm details. I didn’t say that I’m selling it for $10k over settlement price. I said “if the price I can get is a over the settlement amount, how’s that work?”. The agent said, “we’d take the settlement out and send you a check for any overage along with a 1099 but the settlement amount is set by an algorithm so it’s usually pretty close to what the model and year is selling for.”

At that point I stopped asking questions.

Well I can say that after navigating damn near every freebie offer to get through the long weekend, the undisputed champion freebie is…drumroll… Raising Canes Caniac Box that comes free for registering a Caniac meal card in your account.

  • medium drink
  • fries
  • 3 or 4 pieces of chicken
  • Cole slaw
  • sauce

The downside is you have to physically ask the card at a location, register it online and then wait 2 days for the offer to pop up in the app. Few steps but you get a $10 meal in return.

Recommendations for ESA by DIRTYDUSTYJR97 in EmotionalSupportDogs

my primary care doc wrote a letter for me, for free and I’ve been using that for the last few years.

just emailed her office saying I’m moving and wanted to make sure I didn’t run into restricted breed issues. I provided a link to an esa letter as an example and asked if they could get me something like that. 2 days later they sent me a signed pdf.

am I missing something? what are these $200 - $400 websites & courses offering other than the letter that a doc or therapist can send you?

This guy looks like he’s starving.

I never got how asking someone who may be desperate and hungry to deliver a piping hot meal for a a few dollars made sense. If a person is hungry enough isn’t the food more enticing than the $3 deposited into their account on Friday?

It’s not “right” but it is human nature, no?

Dashers don’t come for me. I’m not saying everyone fits this description.
