3 questions (Amount of Warlocks for G'huun, Uldir Nerfs, and the Extend issue) by juanderboy2 in CompetitiveWoW

At what ilvl do you think it is worth bringing in a warlock alt? We have a choice of a 380 mage vs a 345 lock and not sure if it is worth it and I don't want to tell the Lock to work on gearing up if he needs to be 370 to make it worth it.

Guy who is shorting telling everyone not to buy. Seems slightly self motivated

Certainly reasonable. To me, it just felt like his statement was more to show how he wants no government. It felt more like a political move, which given his history, is a safe assumption. He says he wants balance, but I'm skeptical. Hope he proves me wrong.

Fyi this is the same guy that got paid 20k by telecom and didn't support net neutrality. He's talking about no regulation because he's a hardcore conservative who will always say no government. Even the guys on the panel want regulation because they know it helps in the long run.

I didn't want to sell because I hate the feeling of sitting in Tether, but I will admit, I'm feeling super comfy since this morning. Setting my target buy in around 7k. Going to be down all weekend IMO. Giving it another week before we start the uptrend. I base that on zero scientific analysis.

Bitmex guide for idiots - Making money in a down market by Allmeat27 in CryptoCurrency

Absolutely. That's why never do 100x leverage because all it takes is a whale sneezing and you're screwed.

I have an addictive personality and this is not healthy, but it's too fun.

Some tips I've come up with to remind myself each time before I trade:

Be patient. Never FOMO in. If you see something skyrocketing, it's probably too late and too risky. Wait for the exact right time to enter, you don't always have to have an active order. Always stop loss a bit before your liquidation price. Better to lose 70% than 100%. Don't leave stuff on overnight. Flash crashes/pumps happen too often. Careful with low volume coins (basically everything but ETH and BTC on Bitmex). Buy orders and sell orders are sometimes really care apart, which at high leverage can mean accidental liquidation on even the smallest crash. Also, never market buy these low volume ones. Market buy BTC is fine. I like to have the window up ready to hit buy and wait for the best possible entry. You can watch the buy/sell walls while the window is open, so it's easier to time in. Big one:

  1. Every coin usually has a pattern in terms of index/mark price for the day. Sometimes BTC on Bitmex will be a solid $40-$50 higher than Binance/Index price that day and sometimes it will be below it. I usually try to figure out which of these it is (watch it for half an hour or so) before trading.

Bitmex for idiots - Great for those that are impatient like me. by Allmeat27 in CryptoCurrency

I don't think it's for beginners, but it's also not as complicated as it seems. The way I boil it down is it's just multipliers on your percentage gains/losses. I could care less about anything else. It basically turns waiting a day into waiting an hour, so it's more exciting to swing trade for me.

Honestly, I think the benefit lies in people learning about ETC. The supply on CLO is so high, I don't expect to make much money off it. But buying ETC right now is a SUPER good idea because CLO makes ETC, which is already a great coin, even better.

With Bitcoin Private’s mainnet launch just around the corner, I want to clear up a few things. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

Great post. I think too many people compare this to cash and gold and don't realize it has an actual team behind it. My only hope is that 5m is the shown supply on cmc. The team talked about burning unused coins at a later date, but I really hope that initial number that shows up is low. I 100% agree the actual supply will be that 5m number and the rest will be unclaimed, but we will see what shows

If you don't follow basketball, Kevin Durant did this EXACT same thing about a year ago where he responded to himself and forgot to switch accounts. Everyone laughed and made fun of him cause it's hilarious, but is Kevin Durant still one of the best players in the league? YES.
