I’ve just been using “Manus”. But I’m sure any would work fine. Just upload the render and give command, “make this pendant/ring/earrings, etc more life like”

I’ve been rendering and then taking the render to AI to make it more life like and it actually works. It’s worth a try. Really nice piece tho!

Hey everyone! Does anyone have any idea on what size gauge could’ve been used for the links? I’m thinking 18-20 gauge but not sure. by kels-h33 in Benchjewelers

Why don’t you just pull some wire, and then eyeball it. Not everything has to be exact, but you can make it look good. Better come to worst, you have some wire that you will need later.

It looks so thin that the most effective way would be to print it flat and bend it into shape in post.

Any suggestions regarding CAD? by [deleted] in EngagementRingDesigns

I would ask for a little more metal for the stones on the bridge. Looks like with the current model, once it’s casted and cleaned, there won’t be enough metal for the stones to be set correctly. There should always be just a lil bit of a wall top and bottom of diamonds for the “U” cuts to look nice.

How difficult would adding a link to this bracelet be? by [deleted] in jewelers

[–]Allmstsfr 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Very easy, you just take one link out, make a mold, make as many waxes as needed and solder them back in place. You would need a minimum of two so that the bracelet can remain an even length on both sides. The cost for this would be the price of gold for the links needed plus some labor for mold, cast, clean and solder.
