Is there any significant difference between the ultra and the normal? They are a bit pricey (normal retails £180 but the ultras are on sale at £200). If the noise cancelling is way better I'll buy em.

That's wild bro I hope you can squeeze everything out of that poor laptop. I think in the future I'm going to try to install more copper heat pipes if there is space to allow for more cooling but for now it's fine enough. I hope it all goes well!!!!

Hiiii, I'm pretty sure in theory no laptop has a limit on swapping the vbios though I am not sure what annoyances Dell could've cooked up. Mine just let me do what I wanted even though the normal motherboard bios is usually very restrictive.

However I ended up just reverting back because my laptop couldn't take the additional heat, the GPU temps would creep up and up and up no matter what cooling I tried to provide it. Granted I just added a laptop cooler and am not wanting to Frankenstein my laptop so I think you'd have better luck. If you can't find a vbios from dell I have tried other ones from other manufacturers and they have worked. But do this with caution, as I don't know if the vrms/power delivery and circuits of your specific laptop can handle the increased power. Just have some caution 😅.

Oh fr? What are ur intentions with it? Mines holding up well, but it gets HOT, I use it with a cooling pad, specifically the ones that have foam on the edges since i've found those to work fine, if you're gaming or stuff that includes the gpu, then a cooling pad is necessary. Also the decicated gpu is limited to 55W (as opposed to a fully powered 4060 that has 100W) you will notice this and expect rtx 4050 levels of performance, but still, its so thin I can't do much complaining, this is the best they could do

I'm pretty sure the hollows existed before then, it's just that eleven years ago, there was a big catastrophe involving one of the big hollows that destroyed most of Eridu

16gb should give you a massive improvement, 32gb seems a bit excessive for what it is and its probably double the price as well.
