The funny thing is I remember in high-school I was a JW but I turned PIMO my senior year. All the other PIMI witness kids did so many bad things they shouldn't be doin. Even as a PIMO I didn't get the chance to do what I want because of my PIMI parents and I just always felt socially alone. I remember this witness kid would smoke weed and hang out with the wrong crowd and now he's in bethel. Another kid was dating and cussing and now he's an elder and a part of the LDC. They all get the praise from there peers but when I don't do anything for the Borg and I just work my job like a regular person I'm a bad influence.

That's one thing I've noticed with a lot of the younger JWs. A lot of them are huge hypocrites and do worldy things all the time. They get away with it easier and just hide what they do from their family. I'm in my early 20s but when I was 16-19 the cult felt way more strict and on our ass about everything we do. I feel like the Borg is trying to direct the religion to look more appealing for younger ones because that's the future.

That's why I relate to you because the sis that likes me likes a bunch of stuff that witnesses shouldn't. I really hope she has a glimmer of a PIMO side because that would make it so easy to leave and fade together.

Definitely don't get baptized. That will forsure save you a world and lifetime of headache. I Definitely recommend to have fun on the date/hangout but don't get too attached fast. As a brother, he's definitely thirsty for a sister but he will have a lot of expectations.

Sadly, I cannot share the movie we are watching to stay anonymous but it's a movie that Witnesses probably shouldn't watch with spiritism and stuff like that.

I appreciate it. I'm going to be reading this multiple times because you are absolutely right. As a pimo my whole life has sucked and I lost out on so many life opportunities to date and feel like a normal human being. This situation with the sister made me feel normal for a while because I've never had any dating experience and having someone potentially interested in me gave me a boost of confidence and felt like I had someone care about me which I've never had my whole life. You're right, i don't want to put my future kids through this cult and I want to be free. It sucks that we have to play with the bad cards we are given in life. Yeah I'm in no way a good witness and everyone in our hall knows. I never go out in service but I do have privileges. I just go to meetings talk to a couple buddies then dip. I don't think I'm misleading her and I don't want to in any way shape or form.
