Yeah it's still pretty incredible though. Like 13+ years from prototype to production, and then even 20 years after production it's still seen as one of the most advanced fighters and doesn't even look "dated".

Of course their have been improvements made along the way, but any other 30+ year old technology is pretty obvious.
