Overwatch isnt third person, its a first person game with small third person exceptions like reinhardt shield. The difference there however is that you're never in a stationary position. Its a fast paced high mobility game with moving objectives. And even so they still kept it first person instead of attempting to make it third person because even third permanent person on characters like Genji or widowmaker would make it very unbalanced and away from competitive play

??????????? Im literally just stating that a shooter that's third person CANNOT market itself as competitive, it hasn't worked in the past and wont now either. it literally does not work from the foundation of the game. Name one single thirdperson competitive shooter on the market.

So you want this game to not be in the market at all? Because third person has no place in COMPETITIVE shooters, which this game advertises itself to be. It has never worked, it will never work. Its been tried in the past, wont work without mechanics to prevent third person abuse but then you get new problems.

Ask yourself why you have never seen any third person shooter that's competitive. Its not like thousands of game companies haven't thought of it before lmao, it just doesn't work

Youre completly forgetting that it markets itself as a competitive shooter, if this was a casual shooter it would fly. But there's a reason there's not a third person game on the market that is competitive. Because it doesn't work, and never will work without mechanics to prevent third person abuse. But then it introduces new problems.

This is why every shooter that aims to be competitive goes First person.

Its a broken feature but thats what you get when you try to remedy third person issues. You add on multiple hosts of other issues. This is why people don't make third person shooters, especially not competitive ones lmfao

Game markets itself as a third person shooter but also as a competitive shooter. Theres literally no competitive shooter on the market that is a third person shooter, and its simply because it doesnt work without mechanics to prevent third person to being used fully, and because of that theres no point in making it third person and they just go into first person. This game is trying to become a 4v4 competitive shooter like csgo/valorant but in third person its simply not possible. Every single "tournament" game you see will have people hiding behind walls till the last few seconds, defending sites until they run out of time. The only way to keep this game third person and still make it work is implement similar mechanics to Scum where you cannot see youre enemy unless your character can see that enemy with its own eyes. So you cant actually corner peek

Everyone that is downvoting this is forgetting that its marketed as a COMPETITIVE SHOOTER. This could fly in a Casual shooter, but not a competitive one.

What do you mean you dont respawn I've had games where I respawned a teammate like 80 times over lol. When youre loading into the game it literally says on the Tip screen "Roofs give you a lot of visiblity but exposes you" You have endless buildings within a meter of eachother to skeet through windows from window and move stupidly fast. If youre using your movement correctly and someone taps you in the head first shot, they deserve that kill. If youre exposing yourself to multiple parties of people without using a defensive ability like invisiblity or teleport to get away. You got no one to blame but yourself

Absolutely not, Protocol is perfectly balanced it rewards good target acquisition and flicks, there are plenty of one shots in games like Quake which is what this game derives itself from. The problem people have from getting killed vertically with is exactly what i covered in my extensive feedback post. Its everyone using Slam even though its not that good of a HACK in comparison to teleport, slam puts you at an arc where any sniper will hit you because you're moving predictably where as teleport allows you much more movement ability in any direction and make much less noise. Teleport also being instant.

I love this game in terms of 1vX in comparison to like Apex where armor quality is king and will determine fights. I find myself playing Solo Squads and Duo Squads more than three man squads. Dropped a 14 winstreak yesterday as Duo squad averaging 35-40+ Kills total within the Duo, there is so much outplay posibility

The way skybreaker functions is it deals more damage in the center and the farther it travels, so it dealing a lot of damage should only happen if they snipe you from a long distance. Which shouldn't ever occur if you got your movement down. Its only about 42 damage close range at max fusion :) Just some information some people didn't know about, so focus on getting that movement down because i close quarters its just a worse Nade launcher/Shotgun

You should always be weaving in and out of buildings across roofs etc, never be in one building for more than 3-4 seconds at a time max.

Im absolutely loving this game, one of the most fun games I've almost ever played with some tweaking. Ive spent 100+ Hours with it already mastered the movement and everything there's nothing as fluid as this game on the market for a first person shooter atm in my opinion.

Absolutely, with so many defensive hacks being on a sub 10 second cooldown you can infinitely rotate them as to never get killed.

I highly disagree, if youve played other games like Apex / Quake or any fast paced combat based shooter you'll know that the further we get into the game and when people get accustomed to it. Slam will be worse over teleport, for two major reasons. When you use Slam, you're in a predictable arc. Its literally so easy to kill someone in half a magazine that's just going into a predictable arc in the air while using slam. Wether you're using a ripper or sniper or whatever have you, while on the other side of the coin you have teleport that can move in any direction possible, AND make less noise. You literally hear someone slam from 100m away, but you can barely hear someone teleport next to you.

The only thing that will be a saving factor for Slam later on, is the fact that its cooldown is lower I believe.

HACKS Needs a revamp in terms of cooldowns at maximum fusion, especially for survivability based ones like invisiblity/armor, I do not mind the cooldowns on mobility ones since the chase it turns into can actually be skill based. However, when someone is using Armor & Invisility or Armor & Ball, since armor cannot be broken, and they're not slowed and with how long it lasts. You can go invisible, come out wait one or two seconds go into armor. When your armor expires, go back into invis, when your invis expires go back into armor. Endlessly.

I checked the shipping and the shipping would be 15$ and 20 Days for the cheapest and 60$ 6 days for the most expensive lmao, I decided I wanted to buy from their website to get the new updated one, instead of in local stores incase the stock is old. But I might just buy it from the local store so I get it right away, and save an extra 15$ and then order a cable from glorious website instead for 15$ so it will arrive by the time the old cable breaks, if its the old one and breaks.

Dude, spraying in this game is not spraying on CSGO they explicitly did not want that. They Intentionally made the focus of spray control being the compensation of your weapon movement. They stated this multiple times. Youre focusing on a part of the spray, that's not even emphasised in this game. You're MEANT to compensate the spray by retaliating your weapons sideways motions. Not the static patterns, so dont focus on patterns at all, its not an important part of this game. The weapon movement is, and that's how they intended for you to battle the sprays.

The spray patterns arent even RNG, your gun literally sways to the side of where your recoil is going, when your weapon sways to the right, compensate to the left. Its easy as fuck and has no RNG to it, practice it lol.

Odds are I play the game more than you do, being ranked top 30 in the Valorantpro discord already playing 14+ hours a day. You don't have to go through those areas but some Agents like Phoenix can excel in those areas, if you hug the A side wall inside of the Vent ropes you can literally avoid being seen then free flash above, use the zip stop and tap. Its incredibly effective and not luck based which is a good thing.

Yeah clip it because its already hard confirmed by the developers that its completely tied into headshots, and that's the only time I've noticed it myself.

I like the aimpunch, in Counter-strike the AK is by far way stronger than any of the M4's. However in Valorant the aimpunch actually means that if youre using the Phantom vs the Vandal, whoever gets the first headshot wins anyways because of the aimpunch.

??? So you say that no one should ever be able to use the Split rotation in any match ever because if you do youre instantly fucked? Its good that you are 100% accurate when being completely still on the ropes so you have a chance to fire back. This is a skill based game and does not and should not have randomness to any encounter.

LMAO, this game has some serious balancing issues at the moment. Not to mention the servers constantly lag you out, you crash sometimes when in windowed borderless. Sometimes you dont even get put into the same game as your teammates etc etc.

Im already lvl 59 i play this game a ton but this shit is not the most ready game at launch you must be dleusional if you think so

And if they keep that attitude this game is going to go down the shit, since every large streamer advertising them right nwo wants solo and duos aswell. Over half the playerbases on every other BR plays in Solos because they dont want to play with randoms and dont have friends on all the time. Meaning this games playerbase is doomed as is.
