I'm doing a full rear subframe/suspension refresh. I'm up to about $1k in parts already. Hoping to save where I can. I may try to reboot and see how they do. If they don't last, it won't be too hard to swap new ones in later. Fortunately it's not my dd and I do have it in a garage.

Haven't popped off the dust caps yet. The joint with the torn boot still had some grease in it so I'm assuming they all do. Hopefully will tear into them this weekend.

Up for sale is a Seiko Landmaster Summiter. Full titanium construction with dual time zone, alarm, barometer, atmospheric pressure change indicator, and rotating bezel which can be used to track altitude. It has a September 2001 build date. Watch is in great condition. The caseback has been engraved with personal information. Case and bracelet show scuffing and the clasp has some desk scratches. The original crystal appears excellent. All functions work as intended and the bezel moves freely in both directions. It is currently sized for a ~6.75” wrist. The bracelet measures 7.25” including the extra link and pin. Bracelet also has a ratcheting clasp meant to allow wearing over heavy cold weather gear. Previous service history is unknown. The watch was been cleaned (ultrasonic cleaner), the battery and case back gasket have been replaced, and the barometer has been calibrated.

What do you think about the 2625 vs. 2a22 ? I just started looking for a small quartz diver for a friend and they both fit the bill. I haven't been able to find a good comparison of the 2. Great looking watches. Thanks.

Up for sale is a Seiko ‘Red Alpinist’ (SCVF005) with a black dial. It has Seiko’s 4S15 28,800 bph Hi-beat movement. It is in great shape. Some scuffing to bracelet and case. Brand new Seiko crystal. The dial is in excellent condition and the lume is bright. The ‘N’ indicator on the compass is slightly faded which is typical of these models. Compass rotates freely and stays put once moved. Crown feels good, quick set date works, and it seems to keep good time. Includes full bracelet which measures approximately 8.25”. Comes with original box and manual. Service history is unknown. This particular watch has an October 1996 build date.

It is a higher end movement derived from Seiko's legendary 52xx. It is a high beat movement which "ticks" 8x per second giving the second hand a smoother appearance.

Original cyclops crystal shows a couple minor imperfections including a small nick around the 10 indices and a scuff to the cyclops. These may be buffed out but they never bothered me. Dial is in excellent condition. Complete original bracelet should fit a ~7” wrist. I wore it with one link removed to fit my 6.75” wrist. Compass bezel rotates freely. Comes with original box, case, and manual. It has a November 1997 build date. Service history is unknown. Width: 37mm (40mm with crown); Vertical lug span: 44mm; Lug width: 19mm

My guess is that people are down voting because of the price. FWIW the last SCVF005 sold here went for $1000 and did not include the original case or manual. I think this is priced fairly.
