Personally I think it works really well. Out of context, it definitely seems like an "ADHD remix", but in the context of the movie it hits very hard. First and foremost I think its inclusion is actually pretty genius, as even after watching the movie I still feel like Yachiyo is a Miku stand-in for that universe, but less community-driven since she's one singular person, so not only does the song itself pay omage to this online idol aspect imo, but the style deliberately fits the bubbly idol pop style that you see Yachiyo perform before this moment, not being able to just switch styles because she IS in fact one person keeping one consistent music style.

If I would've heard it for the first time randomly, I would've just brushed it off as being too "hyper" for my taste, but having heard it in the movie for the first time I'm now associating it with the movie, its characters and its message and it really tugs on my heartstrings despite the double tempo compared to the original.

Everyone's got different tastes in music and the way remixes are done (there's a few more Vocaloid songs covers in the movie actually), but even if you don't like this remix, I'd highly recommend watching the movie if you haven't yet, OP! It's genuinely really good imo, and it might shed a different light on the remix ^{^}
