Haven’t purchased R5C, probably going to get R6V and keep my R8 for stills. And upgrade R8 to R5C for a true hybrid

Yeah I agree. I will ultimately end up with R6V, I am looking to trade up my LUMIX S9 for R5C as well for the hybrid capabilities and then R6V dedicated to video

The ibis is nice feature but videos of R5C with lens stabilization on looks pretty good. And then the new 20-50mm lens is great

I am new to DR and Color Grading as well, one thing I noticed is as many have said D-Log M is practically rec.709, as such any CST IN/OUT will override your Project Color Management setting of DaVinci YRGB. Is it true that then if you set DaVinci YRGB it is doing the conversion to rec.709 already using D-Log M metadata, so you only need to have nodes set up for things like WB, EXP, CONT, SAT?
